Kasey Salway

Kasey Salway is currently serving as Unit Chief for the Strategic Partnership Unit (SPU) in the FBI WMD Directorate‘s Investigations and Operations Section. SPU’s mission is to advance the FBI’s overall prevention, preparedness, and response capabilities by cultivating collaborative partnerships inside and outside the FBI. Mr. Salway has been with the FBI for more than 23 years and has decades of counterterrorism and WMD-related experience.

During his career at the FBI, Mr. Salway previously served as a WMD Stabilization Program Manager and Team Leader in the Critical Incident Response Group, where he led a unit responsible for a critical role within the National Response Framework. Mr. Salway also served as an FBI Supervisory Special Agent, a Program Manager in the WMD Directorate, and as a Special Agent Bomb Technician.  Prior to joining the FBI, he was a Captain in the U.S. Army.
